Monster Block Party Poster

Tree Utah Campaign

These ads were featured in Luerzer's Archive magazine in 2003.

Tree Utah "Drought Tolerant Trees" Campaign
A little juvenile, I know, but this was placed above urinals to encourage people to plant drought-tolerant trees.

This one is a magazine ad demonstrating how little moisture most drought-tolerant trees need to survive in Utah's dry climate.

Wood Revival "Frames" Campaign

Utah Museum of Fine Arts "Monet to Picasso" Exhibit

These non-traditional advertising pieces were set up around town to create awareness for the "Monet to Picasso" exhibit at the Utah Museum of Fine Arts. The exhibit displayed pieces by Monet, Dali, Van Gogh, Picasso, Degas, Cezanne and several others. We chose to feature Monet and Dali for these two executions. They were recognized nationally with a Silver Addy Award.

Hogle Zoo Car Cover
This non-traditional advertisement was done to promote the Outback Adventure exhibit at the Hogle Zoo. The Outback Adventure is a hands-on exhibit that allows you to feed and interact with hundreds of free-flying birds. We thought it was appropriate to put this message on a car cover.

Tree Utah Poster Campaign

These were recognized by the New York Festivals and Print Magazine's Regional Design Annual.

Salina Lumber Newspaper Campaign

These newspaper ads were done for my Dad's lumber and hardware store in Salina, Utah. Salina is a small town with a population of roughly 2000. This campaign was awarded a Bronze World Medal Award from The New York Festivals.

Workers Compensation Fund Billboards

These billboards were created to demonstrate the disadvantages of employing drug users in the workplace. These won a National Addy and were recognized by the National OBIE awards and Print Magazine's Regional Design Annual.

Workers Compensation Fund Safety Billboards

These billboards were done as part of the "Making Every Workplace Safer" campaign. Both received recognition from the National OBIE awards.

The mannequin on the "PIGEON DROPPINGS" billboard had some misfortunes during his tenure on the board. His pants fell down to his ankles after only a week and everyone driving past the board was treated to a mannequin full moon. A few days later, the full lower half of his body from the waist down fell off and he was left in that condition for several days.

John Laing Homes Billboard
This made the Clio shortlist, but in the end was not accepted. It did however, receive recognition from the National OBIE awards, which was surprising given the fact that it puts a negative spin on the outdoor advertising industry. I liked the ironic statement of this billboard.

Workers Compensation Fund Safety Posters

These posters were created to promote workplace safety in an obviously tongue-in-cheek sort of way. They were recognized in The 2003 Print Magazine Regional Design Annual.

Hogle Zoo TV Spots

Salt Lake Winter Olympic Games TV Spots

These two television spots were done for the Salt Lake Winter Olympic games. We shot these with NFL Films based in New Jersey.

Nature's Sunshine Metabomax TV Spot

Hogle Zoo Illustrated Posters

I commissioned Michael Bartalos from San Francisco to illustrate the images for these posters. The posters were featured in Luerzer's Archive magazine in 2005.

Hogle Zoo Illustrated Poster
I commissioned Greg Newbold to paint this poster to promote the zoo. He did a wonderful job. I really like the way it turned out. It was featured in Communication Arts May/June 2010 issue.

Gina Bachauer Piano Competition Illustrated Poster
I commissioned Dugald Stermer to illustrate this poster for the Gina Bachauer Piano Competition. It was included in the Society Of Illustrators 2007 Annual Exhibition.
